Likes to run, to laugh, to make love, to sleep, to dream, to dance, to provocate a little bit, Nutella, my jewelry, optimistic people…art, music, architecture, films……………Dislikes appearances, lies, mass production, when I’m lazy and pessimistic, to make what I don’t want, too much talk or get annoyed
What did you want to be when you grew up?when I was 5 I wanted to be an architect or an actress !! that was sure for me, because I could have spent hours in the architecture office of my father and I was drawing houses all the time ! I would have also liked being an actress because, becaue I’ve spent hours in the front of the mirror, trying the ball dresses and high heels of my beautiful aunt during the holidays ! And nowadays nothing changed, it’s still fun being a woman !!
What do you do now? Now? I’m answering your questions !! hi hi
How did you start out? Well…that’s a long long history. I was very shy and didn’t have the courage to start, even if my brain was full of ideas. My parents wanted that I study medecine, because they were afraid that I won’t earn my living from jewelry making. So I played the game and started medecine. But one year later I left my native country and said fuck to medecine. I wanted to live my own life and earn my money thanks to my ten fingers. First I had to learn french ad then I made thousand different jobs for living, I was in the south of France. I sold some jewelry made of screws and wood, but no money and again no courage to move to Paris. I got married twice and even thought that I could be happy in a conventional life. Anyway, I thought that it was too late for me. And there was nobody to boost and believe in me. But one day, I woke up and it was clear. I had to take the last train, if not : it would have been over !! and Paola, my first daughter who was 9 at that time and very wise, told me :”Mama, if you are happy, then we’ll be happy”. It was so simple. Children are so logic. So I studied for 6 months in the jewelry school on rue du Louvre in Paris, asked the divorce, searched an appartment, participated at jewelry design contests, started my company and of course all this without money !!! but this time I was rich : I had the courage to start. My desire to live my life was finally stronger than my fear.Any exciting up coming projects or future plans? I have thousand exciting projects and plans! first of all to finish my 27 rings which lay displayed on the floor in my atelier since 2 years..(I got very lazy meanwhile)…then to make some big big crazy necklaces and collars for the spring - because my gallerist, Béatrice Saint Laurent, the owner of the BSL gallery in Paris encourages me to be more and more free, to be more and more crazy !! and collectors appreciate more and more my work and that’s so good for my soul and creativity !! What city are you based in and where can we find you?I’m based in Paris, France and you can find my work in the beautiful BSL Gallery in the Marais -  or in the IBU Gallery in the Jardins of Palais Royal - You may also find my work on www.notjustalabel.com. What do you love about what you do? NO limit. That the only limit is my imaginationWhat do you hate about what you do?I love everything about my work but I hate when I’m lazy and afraid What inspires you?Found objects. Great architecture. Free and inventive people. Enthusiastic dreamers. Sexual energy. People who dare and make everything to realize their dreams.
