High Tea with Nagicia.
Lounging around a gorgeous Balinese villa, one hand being pampered by a hardworking manicurist, the other clutching a strawberry/mango mohito; surrounded by beautiful people and even more beautiful jewels; my only concern whether or not three(insert a hundred different words for delicious here) gluten free cupcakes is one(or three) too many.
A day of delightful indulgences to launch Nagicia’s new collection of almost edible looking jewellery; featuring candy colored resin set with sirsak leaves; the trinkets deliciously(and aptly) displayed on dinner plates and vintage tea sets. Make overs were provided by Monica from Style Compass Image Consultancy, who with just a few dabs of the brush created a totally refreshed and sparkly new you, the previously mentioned cupcakes brought down from Ubud by Soma from Localista (who unbelievably only just started baking about 3 months ago and has created a gluten free tiramisu cupcake that trained pastry chefs would die for) and of course a selection of my neckpieces displayed as well.
Guests included oh just your everyday mix of designers, local literary’s, global hairsalon owners’s and ex supermodels daaaarlink… Conversations throughout the day(and as the mohitos kicked in!) ranged from the power of pray and positive thinking to doing kegels exercise’s with jade eggs!
Well fed and pampered, with a renewed sense of positivity(or possibly just one too many mohito’s) my only complaint was having to leave the event at the end of the day and head back out into the real world…
