I am selling in boutiques in Bali, Jakarta, Singapore, Amsterdam, NYC and LA.How did you come to be working in Bali?John Hardy, which is a multi-million dollar jewelry company, brought me out to work for them as Head Designer in 1997.  I worked there for 2.5 years, traveled for a year, and came back to Bali to start up my own label. What challenges have you faced starting up here?Well, first people are very guarded with their resources for good reasons.  When you have a good jeweler or production company, you don’t want to lose them to another designer.  For you, what are the advantages and disadvantages of working in Bali?Once you are set with your production here, it’s a dream come true.  As an artisan, any ideas I come with can quite easily be facilitated by all the talented crafts people in Bali. The disadvantage is to get things done on schedule, you must micro-manage.Do you sell here or just produce, and why?I produce and sell here, as Bali is very international, it’s a good testing ground.
