Lucy Lu Likes mad men season 5, blood orange sorbet, pistachio gelato, hip hop dance class, peppermint tea in the morning, rediscovering baths, online shopping, two for one flights, nice weather in sydney…dislikes feeling run down, freezing cold aircon that can’t be switched off, broken car window, unpainted nails, lack of jumpers….

Sia Duff likes Obama, tops with glittering wolves on them, coffee/shopping days with mum, being halfway through the Game of Thrones novels and not near the end, vanilla Jalna, finally growing my nails, new bedsheets. Dislikes headaches, running out of teabags, jamming my toe in the drawer, waiting for tv shows to be downloadable, waiting all weekend for a job callback, cold showers in the morning..
Amelia Hawkins Likes: morning tea and scones with my parents and a 90 yr old who used to live in our house when she was a child, sunny mountains days, an amazing dinner in the works. Dislikes: the aftermath of mixing drinks, packing too many clothes but not enough jumpers, last minute rushes to buy things for aforementioned dinner…
Sandra Diana Troegl Likes small punk festivals with vegan catering, saving bumblebees, sunsets on Tempelhof, dislikes getting up early for any reason, people going to galleries not interested in arts, sleeping alone.
Sue Reoch I like my creative and inspiring friends, the smell of frangipanis in the rain, drinking coffee out of a cracked porcelain cup and living in europe. I dislike early morning runs, people who rain on my parade, things I can’t understand and loud breathing.

PCH Innovations & Villeroy and Boch presents ‘Second Glance’ By Ebon Heath
I’ve known Ebon for a while and heard a lot about his work, so when he sent out a last minute little call out oh yeah guys ‘pass thru if u r in the area tomorrow night…’ i didn’t want to miss it, but from his description i wasn’t so prepared for the crowds of art elite flocking the pavement out front of Seven Star Gallery, but then his easy going manner often makes you forget how successful the lovely Ebon is.
The Pop Up exhibit of his project with PCH Innovations ‘Second Glance’ By Ebon Heath; for which he designed a limited edition ceramics print for Villeroy & Boch and created one of his amazing typography installations by ‘water jet’ laser cutting their tiles, i managed to only catch the man of the moment for a few seconds in between congratulatory hugs and pushy magazine editors but defiantly glad i dragged my lazy arse off the couch for this one…

Kalinka.Kalinka’s Bloggers Floh Market…
An early morning call dragged me out of my Sunday laziness and off to fill a table at the Bloggers Floh Market, selling hand made jewellery designs at a market with an abundance of fashion bloggers dirt cheap designer off-casts was not particularly financially successful but nonetheless Artconnect Berlin’s Neukoln headquarters are always a nice place to spend a Sunday, with lots of stylishly attired bloggers out in force, yummy bakery treats and even a gluten free option in the form of the ‘Pao de Queijo’ (some kind of South American cheese filled pastry thing made of flour from what looks like a white sweet potato… mmmm cheesy) and even one of my customers from last weeks design markets stopped by to show off his Mies Nobis ‘stier’ pendant…

Designer Scouts Berlin/Toronto showcase at Merkezi…
Here’s my blurry little party pics from the Designer Scouts showcase a week or more late (professionalism is my middle name) debuting a fashion film directed by Katja Hentschel with designs by Berlin’s fashion foremost; Augustin Teboul, Esther Perbandt, Von Bardonitz, Sadak and Moga E Mago and also presenting an weirdly wonderful installation by Moga E Mago featuring theatrically painted models in heavy fur harnesses snacking on fruit as they observed from above the sweaty crowds of bloggers/fashionista’s clamoring for free cocktails. Cos that’s the way Berlin does fashion party’s daaaarlink…
